Join us on November 14 for One Wellington, our annual giving day! This once-a-year tradition is a day filled with Jaguar spirit and generosity that grow our people and programs. With your support, youโll be mobilizing big ideas for tomorrowโs world.
Our One Wellington Giving Day is the time we call on our entire community to continue the work begun by our founders by investing a bit of our treasure back into our extraordinary learning community. When you participate today you will help continue to mobilize the Wellington experience and help us secure an additional $100,000 by being one of 300 donors to make a gift today!
More on the Impact of Your Gift:
Wonderbus: The Mobile Classroom: Wellington received a grant from The Edward E. Ford Foundation, a national foundation committed to funding promising practices in independent schools. EE Ford will match our fundraising goal up to $100,000 to make the mobile classroom a reality. Designed to be a multi-purpose space, the Wonderbus will be full of possibilities — from supporting audiovisual projects like documentaries to delivering pottery wheel to scenic parks for ceramic students to throw clay in nature. When students connect with different environments - engagement, relevance, and learning expand exponentially.
Well-being & Belonging: Wellington is committed to expanding its efforts to support the current and long-term mental, emotional, and physical well-being of our students. This priority is part of a larger initiative to support well-being and belonging through enhanced counseling and integration with student success programming; creating more access to experts for professional training for faculty and staff and information sharing with the community; and elevating programming opportunities within the classroom. Funds raised through the Annual Fund will support students with new programming in the areas of conflict resolution, peer-to-peer relationships, and anti-bullying; social media impact and mentoring; and anti-harassment and gender equity for upper school students beginning the 2023-24 school year.
Tuition Assistance: New this year, a one-time hardship fund will be created to provide support to families facing unexpected difficulty in paying tuition. This fund will ensure that a studentโs Wellington experience isnโt interrupted by a family emergency and that they can remain at Wellington.
